Hummingbirds never fail to win me over with their spritely charm. Appearing in an instant, they manage to capture and fly off with your attention as quickly as they enter the scene. I consider the vibrational sounds of their wings when painting them. This is a representation of a Ruby-Throated Hummingbird in flight. This painting was created with inspiration from a previous hummingbird painting, with additions of pastel light and purple flora.
